The Best Spots for Self Care, Wellness, and Fitness in Sarasota

When you move to a new state or town, you have to research all of your new spots for everything relating to self-care, wellness, and fitness. This can take weeks, months, or even years of trial and error to “find the person” to do your hair, nails, or filler. You may try a new gym and not feel welcomed, etc. Today I want to give my top recommendations that i’ve found throughout my 10 years in Sarasota!

Self Care Recommendations

Hair Stylist

Lindsey Gale, Modish Salon, 5433 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL. Instagram @lindsey.locks

Lindsey has been doing my hair for about 4 years now. She is super personable and easy to get along with. She specializes in low maintenance hair, lived in blonde and dimensional blondes, hand tied extensions. She is my go-to gal for my hair and I highly recommend checking her out!

Nail Salon

Siesta Nail & Spa, 6517 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL. Instagram @siestanails_sarasota

This is my go-to spot when I want a manicure and pedicure. The salon is clean, the team is professional, and their nail technician’s are very talented in all styles of nails, especially nail design.

Med Spa

Bowtique Med Spa, 6118 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL

This is my favorite Med Spa in Sarasota. I highly recommend booking with Natalie Robison, APRN. She is personable, takes her time, leaves minimal bruising and always makes you look natural. She walks you through the process, answers any and all questions immediately and always offers recommendations.

Day Spa

L Spa, 556 S. Pineapple Ave, Sarasota, FL

The L Spa is a cute and boutique day spa located in Downtown Sarasota. They offer an array of services and package deals including massages, facials, chemical peels, filler, manicures, pedicures, makeup, eyelash extensions, and more. They also have a really fun boutique with unique pieces so you can shop afterwards.

Wellness & Health Recommendations

Yoga Studio

The Yoga Shack, 514 Central Avenue, Sarasota, FL.

The Yoga Shack is wildly popular and known in Sarasota and they offer a handful of different classes, such as sweat, circuit, fifty/fifty and sound bath. If you love Yoga, you will definitely love it here.

Fitness Studio’s

F45 Training, 1900 Main Street, Sarasota, FL.

Very loved by the fitness lovers, F45 training is a great spot for functional training with a mix of circuit and hiit style workouts.

Seaward Crossfit, 423 N. Lemon Avenue, Sarasota, FL.

I don’t personally do Crossfit, but this spot has a 4.9 star review on Google, so if you’re a Crossfit fan, definitely check this location out.

Crunch Fitness, 3762 Beeridge Road, Sarasota, FL.

Crunch is a local gym in Sarasota, similar to any other local gym. It’s low cost, offers all of the fitness machines and tools you could need, and is always clean.

Pilates

Club Pilates, 1413 1st St, suite #102A, Sarasota, FL 34236

Pilates has become very popular in the recent years & Club Pilates is a great spot in Downtown Sarasota to check out if you’re trying it for the first time, or have been practicing for years. They also have a location in South Sarasota located at 8210 South Tamiami Trail.

Please let me know if you check out any of these spots! Thank you for reading.
